Architect Hagai Nagar holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree after completing five years of study at the School of Architecture in the Faculty of Arts at Tel Aviv University. He furthered his education by studying project management at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and became certified in green building consultancy by the Standards Institution of Israel.
Upon completing his academic studies, Hagai was invited to represent Israel at the Venice Biennale of Architecture, where he showcased the ASDF project at the Israeli pavilion, curated by architect Hillel Schocken. Following the Biennale, Hagai was invited to design and plan projects internationally, including in Tokyo and Ibiza. After winning an architectural competition to design concept branches for Israel Post, Hagai returned to Israel.
Alongside his early professional work in Israel, Hagai taught architecture at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem and interior design at HIT – Holon Institute of Technology. He was also invited by Bank Hapoalim to present a development on green building. His CHU200 project gained international attention, receiving coverage by AP and features on Discovery Channel, in China, and worldwide.
Today, in addition to leading his firm, Architect Hagai Nagar is regularly invited to speak at various professional forums.
