When designing this law office, specializing in real estate and urban renewal, we faced a compelling dilemma: Should the office embrace a raw, industrial aesthetic, or should it reflect a more refined and elegant luxury? Should the concrete ceiling remain exposed, showcasing the electro-mechanical systems above, or would a clean, polished look with hidden ducts and pipes better align with the firm’s professional identity? To address this, we explored both options, working with the client to create detailed plans and renderings of each concept.

The visual differences between the two styles were striking. Both approaches had their merits, but ultimately, the clean and orderly design felt more aligned with the values of this law firm—offering precise, professional, and calm services to its clients. Still, we made sure to introduce subtle elements of rawness to create a sense of tension and interest in the space.

Throughout the design process, it was clear that exposed concrete walls and columns would add just the right amount of texture and character. The raw concrete, paired with the sophistication of deep coffee tones, luxurious blues, and a stunning wooden floor, struck the perfect balance, creating a polished yet grounded atmosphere for the firm.
