We’re proud to present the second food-tech incubator we’ve designed for The Kitchen—an initiative by the Strauss Group and the Israel Innovation Authority. Following the success of our first project, we’ve crafted a new incubator in Rehovot, the heart of Israel’s food-tech innovation hub.
As with the first project, we placed the kitchen at the center of it all. The Kitchen is the beating heart of the space, coming alive every afternoon as the food development teams gather to prepare meals together. The vibrant green and bright tones of the kitchen are designed to reconnect the incubator to its roots in nature, fostering creativity and innovation. Collaboration and cutting-edge technology are also reflected in the natural, transparent workspaces that surround the kitchen, creating a seamless blend of food, people, and ideas.
The professional, state-of-the-art lab area offers a unique glimpse into the process, emphasizing openness and inclusivity. From the reception area, visitors can look into meticulously designed spaces like the Fermentation Lab, Food Application Lab, and Cell Culture Lab. The large windows in the development zones were purposefully designed to highlight the collaborative spirit driving technological progress throughout the space—from the entrance, through the kitchen, and into the labs.
